Danish leads your buyers can rely on.

Your buyers are responsible for the leads they call. Deliver Danish leads checked against the Robinson list, with a check receipt they can keep.

You may recognise this

  • Danish buyers have seen the Consumer Ombudsman reject consents bought from partners.
  • A lead can have given consent and still be on the Robinson list.
  • Leads that sit for months can be hit by a new quarterly list before they're used.
  • Buyers want a record, not a promise in an email.

How we solve it

  1. Check each lead via API when it's collected, or check files on delivery.

  2. Leads on the Robinson list are flagged so you decide whether to deliver them.

  3. Each delivery gets a check receipt with date, list edition and row count.

  4. Collect the full Danish address at sign-up, so every lead can be checked.

The buyer carries the risk, and knows it

The Danish Consumer Ombudsman's guidance is clear: the business that contacts the consumer is responsible for the contact being lawful, including when it bought the consent from someone else. Those who helped collect an invalid consent can share responsibility (guidance).

In a review of six lead companies, the Ombudsman found consents from competitions where prizes weren't drawn as promised to be invalid (source). In July 2026 it reported a Danish electricity company that had bought consents from partners (source).

Where the Robinson list fits

A lead with valid consent naming the buyer may be called even if the person is on the Robinson list. But that person has opted out of marketing in general, so if a complaint comes, it will likely come from them. Some buyers simply leave them out.

For leads used for addressed mail, or for calls about exempt products (insurance, subscriptions, books), the Robinson list decides on its own.

Deliver checked leads

Check each lead when it's collected, through our API, or check files when you deliver. Every delivery gets a check receipt the buyer can file: time, Robinson list edition and row count, with no personal data. As a partner, the receipt can carry your name.

Leads have a shelf life

The Robinson list is republished every quarter, and unused consent probably lapses after a year. Recheck leads at delivery, not only at collection.

Questions and answers

Who is responsible if a consent doesn't hold?
The business that makes the call. Those who collected the consent, such as the company running a competition, can share responsibility, according to the Ombudsman's guidance.
Do leads need an address?
To be checked against the Robinson list, yes. The list holds names and addresses, not phone numbers.
Can we use the API in our own platform?
Yes. It's included in the annual plan, or in a partner deal priced on volume.
