# Every Danish mailing list checked before it hits the press.

You print and mail for many brands. We check their Danish address lists against the Robinson list as they enter production, and every job gets a check receipt you can pass on.

## You may recognise this

- Clients send Danish lists and assume someone has checked them.
- You can't tell from a file whether it was checked against the current Robinson list.
- Danish address formats break matching built for other countries.
- When a Danish recipient complains, it's your print job they point to.

## How we solve it

1. We connect to your order system. A drop folder can be agreed.
2. Every Danish address list is checked against the latest Robinson list before printing.
3. You get a print-ready file with only the rows below the chosen level, and the full list with results for the client.
4. Each job gets a check receipt with date, list edition and row count.

## Addressed mail into Denmark

Marketing posted to a person in Denmark with their name and address must not go to anyone on the Danish Robinson list, and businesses must check before sending ([Consumer Ombudsman](https://forbrugerombudsmanden.dk/alle-emner/uanmodede-henvendelser/robinsonlisten)). Unaddressed mail to "the household" isn't covered, but must respect the "Reklamer – Nej tak" sticker ([source](https://forbrugerombudsmanden.dk/alle-emner/uanmodede-henvendelser/nej-tak)).

## Built into production

We connect to your order system, or by agreement set up a drop folder that your staff place Danish address lists into. Each file is checked against the latest Robinson list. You get back:

- **For print:** only the rows below the level you and the client go by. If nobody chooses, we use level 1, the most cautious.
- **For the client:** the original list, where every row shows what we found, what matched and which edition of the Robinson list we checked against.
- **A check receipt** as a PDF, with no personal data, ready to go with the order confirmation.

If your order system has an API, we can connect to it directly instead. We build the connection, and it's included.

## Danish addresses, handled

Floors and doors (`2. tv`), æ/ø/å written as ae/oe/aa, missing postcodes: Danish lists from international clients are messy. If we can't read an address, the row says so and stays out of the print file until someone has looked at it. We never let a row through because we couldn't find it.

## Pricing

## Questions and answers

### Is the sender or the printer responsible?

The business doing the marketing is responsible. But the job goes through your production, and a check receipt shows when and against which list it was checked.

### What about unaddressed mail to Danish households?

It isn't covered by the Robinson list. The "Reklamer – Nej tak" letterbox sticker applies instead, and the distributor handles it.

### Can the receipt carry our name?

That can be agreed. A receipt in your name to your client is part of a partner deal.
